You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
No longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in? Email REPLACE_WITH_CONTACT_EMAIL from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete it and reply within 30 days.
Everything below goes immediately, in the same operation:
| Data | What it is |
|---|---|
| Your account | Sign-in identity, email address, and any Google or Apple link |
| Your profile | Display name, username, avatar |
| Challenges you made | Questions, options, your answer key — and every result anyone scored on them |
| Challenges you played | Your answers and your results |
| Friends | Friendships, pending requests, and anyone you blocked |
| Chats | Your conversations, every message in them, and your “Both Answer” answers |
| Notifications | Push tokens for every device you used, and your notification settings |
| Reports about you | Any report another person filed about you |
| Data | Why, and for how long |
|---|---|
| Reports you filed about someone else | Kept, with your identity removed, so a report about another person's safety does not disappear when the reporter leaves. No longer linked to you. |
| Anonymous counts | Share and usage counters keep the number, not the person: the link to your account is removed and what remains cannot be traced back to you. |
| Backups | Routine database backups may still contain your data until they age out, within REPLACE_WITH_BACKUP_RETENTION days. They are never used to restore a deleted account. |
Nothing else is retained. There is no grace period and no recovery: once the account is gone, the same email address simply starts a new, empty account.
If you only ever played as a guest, you have no account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes what was stored on your device; any scores a guest recorded are tied to the challenge they played, not to a person.
